It saddens me to add another name but, Anthony Henry Grabowski my uncle has passed away.
Anthony H. Grabowski, 82, of West Rutland, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Rutland, October 15, 1926, the son of Paul and Rose (Orzech) Grabowski.
Tony was a graduate of West Rutland High School, class of 1944.
Mr. Grabowski was married to Theresa (Orzell) Grabowski on June 14, 1958.
Anthony was a farmer and also was employed at General Electric for 27 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of St. Peter Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Theresa of West Rutland; one daughter, Susan Stacey and her husband Shane of Rutland; one son, Paul Grabowski and his wife Melanie of West Rutland; three grandchildren, Shane Anthony Stacey, Shelby and Kiana Grabowski; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, John, and by four sisters, Mary Gecewicz, Sophie Bush, Alice Bunyon and Stephanie Cijka. |
